The Canadian Biomaterials Society (CBS) is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of biomaterials science, technology, and education in Canadian universities, industry, and government.

CBS Travel Awards for WBC 2016 announced! Congratulations to 30 graduate students and PDFs from across Canada who have received funding from CBS to support their travel to deliver oral and poster presentations at WBC 2016.

Plan to join us at the CBS Annual General Meeting at WBC 2016 - May 19, 12:15-2:00PM in Room 516AB (Convention Centre). Lunch will be available in the room. The agenda can be downloaded here. The minutes from the 2015 AGM are available on the Meeting Minutes page.

CBS Lifetime Achievement Award - Dr. John Brash
CBS Early Career Investigator Award - Dr. Todd Hoare

CBS Service Award - Dr. Paul Santerre 

      

Read the award citations and join us at the CBS Awards Session at WBC 2016 (Friday May 20, 2016, 4:30-5:30 PM in Congress Room 520ABDE) to honour and hear from the winners. The ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering Student Abstract Award winners will also be announced at this special session.
