The Canadian Biomaterials Society (CBS) is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development of biomaterials science, technology, and education in Canadian universities, industry, and government.

Congratulations to the 2016 ACS Biomaterials Science and Engineering Best Oral Abstract award winners Scott Campbell (External control over drug release using microgel- and SPION-laden nanocomposite hydrogels) and Haijiao Liu (A microfabricated platform with hydrogel arrays and on-chip strain sensing for mechanical stimulation of 3D cell-seeded hydrogels).
