2021 Conference - Call for Symposia and Workshops

2020-12-06 14:54:45 by Thomas Willett

Dear members and friends of CBS,

As part of planning the program for the 36th Canadian Biomaterials Society (CBS) conference, we invite members and sponsors to submit proposals for symposia and/or workshops.

We are excited for this first virtual CBS conference which will be offered via the professional virtual conference platform, Hopin. This platform provides increased opportunities for expanded engagement and interactions within our community throughout Canada and around the world.

The theme of CBS 2021 is “Transitional Biomaterials and Beyond”.  We are seeking proposals related to the theme, as well as other exciting topics of interest to the biomaterials community.

All proposals for symposia and workshops must be submitted by January 4th, 2021. Visit the CBS2021 website for instructions and the submission template. Symposia and workshops will be 90 minutes in duration and held concurrently with other sessions. Please submit your proposal to the conference chair, Prof. Thomas Willett, at

Commercial entities are welcome to submit symposia and workshop proposals if they also support the meeting as a Gold or Platinum level sponsor. Please see the sponsorship package posted on the conference website.

We look forward to receiving your proposals and to helping you deliver engaging symposia and workshops. Your contribution will be highly valued.
