Joining Prof. Jennifer Elisseeff (Johns Hopkins) is both Prof. W. Wagner AND Prof. E. Alsberg as Plenary Speakers for the upcoming 2022 CBS Conference in Banff!

image.pngProfessor Wagner is Director of the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine as well as Distinguished Professor of Surgery, Chemical Engineering, and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He serves as Scientific Director of the NSF Engineering Research Center on “Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials” and Chief Science Officer for the Armed Forces Institute of Regenerative Medicine. He holds a B.S. (Johns Hopkins Univ.) and Ph.D. (Univ. of Texas) in Chemical Engineering.

Photo of Alsberg, EbenProfessor Alsberg, is the Richard and Loan Hill Chair in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine, and Orthopaedics. This Fellow of AIMBE and BMES works on  innovative biomaterials, microenvironments and bioactive factor delivery vehicles for functional tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and disease therapeutics
