CBS Eastern Canada Research Day - Abstracts due Sept 15th

Dear CBS Members & Colleagues,
We are excited to share that four of our Eastern Canada student chapters have organized a "2025 Canadian Biomaterials Society Eastern Canada Student Research Day". The following is a message shared by the Montreal Student Chapter of the CBS:
Join us this October in Montreal to engage with graduate students and researchers in biomedical engineering, materials science, and translational medicine at the 2025 Canadian Biomaterials Society, Eastern Canada Student Research Day!
This one-day conference will be held at École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal, Québec, on October 17th, 2025, and will bring together students, postdoctoral fellows and professors from Montreal, Québec City, Kingston and Ottawa (and beyond!).
The conference will consist of oral presentations from students and professors, as well as a discussion panel focused on industry and entrepreneurship. Student presentations will be either 5 or 10 minutes.
Networking will be facilitated through coffee breaks, lunch and a cocktail. The event is free for all non-industrial researchers.
Event Specifics:
Date: Friday, October 17th from 10AM to 5PM.
Venue: École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Maison des étudiants building, room E-2033 (Salon des diplômés).

If you are interested in presenting orally at this event, please submit an abstract in PDF format in the same registration form. Abstracts (300 words maximum, no figures) should include a title, authors, affiliations, and keywords. The deadline for abstract submission is September 15th at 11:59pm (ET).
Cash prizes will be given to the best 5-minute presentation, as well as the best 10-minute presentation. Abstract acceptance status will be sent shortly after this deadline.
