Quantitative chemical titration of PEG to determine protein PEGylation
Supervisor: Marc Gauthier
Several methods exist for determining the average number of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (mPEG) chains grafted to a protein, i.e., its degree of PEGylation. Some of these methods titrate residual conjugation sites on the protein after conjugation, determine the molecular weight of the conjugate relative to standards, or quantify both polymer and protein components within the bioconjugate.
