FRESH bioprinting of biodegradable chitosan thermosensitive hydrogels
Journal: Bioprinting

This study demonstrates that using a warm FRESH-like approach using a pluronic-base support bath drastically enhances the potential for bio-printing of thermosensitive chitosan hydrogels. In combination with the right choice of gelling agent, we can create biodegradable 3D structures with excellent resolution, mechanical properties and cell viability. This opens up a wide range of applications for 3D models and tissue engineering.
