CBS Mentorship Program (2020-2021 academic year)

Dear CBS Member Trainees,
We are very pleased to launch the call for applications for the CBS Mentorship and Professional Development Program for the second year. This program connects professionals outside of academia with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows coming from the Canadian Biomaterials Society. Students accepted into the program will also receive more than 25 hours of professional development training from renowned experts.

This program aims to help graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to:
- Gain an understanding of the world outside of academia through professional socialization
- Facilitate career success beyond academia during and after their graduate program
- Achieve personal and professional goals
Who is eligible as a mentee? Who is the program designed for?
- CBS members in good standing
- Graduate students and postdoctoral fellow registered in an academic institution
- Graduate students and postdoctoral fellow interested in pursuing a career outside of academia.
Why register to the program?
- You will gain a privileged relationship with a senior professional working outside of academia.
- You will have professional development training during the program
- You will be included to a supportive network
The application
- Mentor annoncement: September 10th, 2020
- Application deadline: September 28th, 2020
